Workshop focusing on forms of giving feedback and nonviolent communication in various stages of the creative process.

It is the first part of a larger format cultivating dialogue and verbalisation as such, whilst not denying the non-verbal nature of the art of dance.

How do you learn more about your work from the dialogue with the test audience than about the person giving the feedback? How to listen and understand the intentions (and perceptions) of others?

The 2-day workshop with the lecturer Zden Brungot Svíteková,  focusing on the creative process and models of giving and receiving feedback, is suitable for dance and non-dance artists who are currently in the middle of their creative process or lead creative processes, who consider feedback as an important and inspiring element of creation.

Zden Brungot Svíteková is a Slovak dancer and choreographer who has been working in the Czech Republic for a long time, a teacher of art and educational projects for all ages. She focuses on authorial work, movement research, projects that bring dance closer to the audience. Together with Bára Látalová, she works in the Ostružina association, which brings contemporary dance to schools and creates works for younger audiences.

Zden will take participants through feedback situations inspired by Critical Response Process Liz Lerman, WOW (words of wisdom) and upwording (Rivca Rubin et al.), principles of facilitation and coaching, NVC models (non-violent communication) etc..
