Individual sessions are an opportunity to meet after the performance Be Provoked by Dance! with the therapist and talk to him about the current experience or experiences that appeared after viewing the performance.

Art and psychotherapy are two disciplines that are, in a sense, closely linked. Artistic experience can bring a pleasant easing of mind, but it can also launch a process of greater or lesser life change. An individual meeting with a therapist is intended for those spectators who experience different feelings during the performance or immediately afterwards; as memories emerge he or she wishes to navigate in this concoction of thoughts that can sometimes evoke unpleasant emotions such as anxiety or fear.

When it comes to psychotherapy, many think it is a long-term and regular issue. Yet, this does not change the fact that even a single therapeutic session – i.e. talking to someone who sees things from a distance and understands the unconscious part of our psyche – can shed light on you in a single moment that you have not thought about before or what you have so far merely suspected.

Art can activate our psyche, which discloses itself in the form of thoughts and feelings.

The aim of an individual one-hour meeting with a therapist is to help understand the process of change that is ubiquitous and happens at all times. Any change is accompanied by different feelings, often those of sadness, anger, aggression or other emotions. Both art and psychotherapy allow a person to better understand what is happening to and around them through emotions.
