Trio Olga / Monika Haasová & Péter Cseri: Beautiful People (SK/HU)

(60 min)

A Physical Theatre Performance by Trio Olga. This surreal tragicomedy displays the mysterious nature of human existence and opens the theme of relationship and their transformations over time between man and woman. What social or life deposits can a soul confront? What affects them, what destroys or devastates them, or, conversely, what cultivates them? This performance brings us closer to different forms of our inner self which, even after years of relationship, still pulsates, is alive, not isolated and destined to change.

Trio Olga is a physical theatre that combines the experience of the authors within Slovak context and significant artistic interaction with the Dutch context where the authors (Monika Haasová and Péter Cseri) worked for 15 years. It offers mutual exchange of experiences in the field of physical theatre. It experiments with the form, movement and themed content of drama theatre. With their work, Trio Olga had the opportunity to present in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as at international festivals in Germany and the Netherlands.

She currently features in the immersive production Kosmopol that received the 2020 Tatra banka Foundation Award for Art for directing in the category theatre.
