There is an increasing talk about changing the system set up to divide the scene into an independent and publicly founded sphere. Our guests have direct experience in both. Lucia Kašiarová, dancer and choreographer, founder of the independent culture space Studio Alta in Prague. This season she became the Director of the only publicly founded dance theatre in Slovakia, the Theatre Dance Studio in Banská Bystrica. Edo Kudláč came to the attention of the independent stage, inter alia, as the founder of his own artistic body phenomenontheatre. Since 2009 he is the Director of the publicly founded City Theatre Žilina.

Do we anticipate a new era of cooperation between publicly founded and independent entities? Are we ready for paradigmatic changes in culture that better reflect reality and evolution, not merely in culture, but also in other public spheres?
