New date: Nu Dance Fest 2020 will be held in August

It is difficult to organize a dance festival during an epidemic. We need an audience – and personal contact with it – which is not possible in the current situation. We need venues that are not open. We need artists who can't neither rehearse nor travel.

In recent days, we have therefore decided not to hold the 15th International festival of contemporary dance and physical theatre Nu Dance Fest in April, as originally planned. We have chosen an alternative solution: moving the event to a later date.

The new date will be: August 12 – 16, 2020. SAVE THE DATE!

We are still working on moving the originally planned performances and other festival program to this new date. We are doing our best to be able to offer to you in August the same quality program that you would have experienced in spring.

While we cannot meet in person at the moment and experience contemporary dance performed live, we have prepared a special treat – online choreography E-CHO – as a partial replacement. Join it and become part of Nu Dance Fest 2020 and International Dance Day 2020. More info.
